https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/washington-secrets/swamp-gop-secretly-worked-with-democrats-to-doom-trump-voters

A majority of voters believe that Republican leaders in Washington worked “secretly” with Democrats in 2020 to take out former President Donald Trump and make Joe Biden president.

In the latest Rasmussen Reports survey, 55% of likely voters blamed Washington-based Republicans for scheming in the election that Trump claims was rife with fraud.

Only 33% disagreed in the latest survey that shows the nation is still divided about the outcome of the 2020 election as it readies for another Trump-Biden matchup in 2024.

Jesus Christ could come down off the cross, tell them there was no conspiracy, and they would not believe Him.

According to the article not only a majority of Republicans said that they believed that, but also a (albeit slimmer) majority of Democrats, which seems a bit bogus.

The precise wording of Rasmussen's poll question was: "How likely is it that Republican politicians in Washington, D.C., worked secretly with Democrats to keep Trump from being reelected in 2020?"

Apparently, they didn't specifically ask whether anyone believed that the election results were rigged, stolen, or otherwise falsified. The question as it is worded could in theory mean any number of things, for instance whether there was a form of coordination between the DNC and the Lincoln Project which (legal) political campaign strategies they woud employ.

Jesus Christ also teaches to love your neighbor and care for the poor and sick. Neither are high priorities of the GOP. It's always been hypocrisy on the Religious Right.

This party has become nothing more than a personal vehicle for Donald Trump and whatever he believes and says. Wake me up when it begins to have a coherent ideology again.
