Even as Florida is becoming a solidly red state at the federal level, we do need to remember that gubernatorial elections are a bit less hyperpartisan and some deep red states have Democratic governors right now (Kentucky, Louisiana, Kansas). So it's not unthinkable that even a Safe R Florida could at one point elect a Democrat as governor.

But of course it hasn't done so since 1994.

An open race under an unpopular Republican administration is my best guess. Don't really know when that will occur next.

I think its too early to say.

While I can not see the Democrats winning Florida's EVs or either Senate Seat this decade, depending on who the GOP and Democrats run, and what the national climate is, I don't think the Democrats winning the Governor's race in 2026 is impossible.

I think we need to wait until after the Presidential election to get a better idea.

Still wasn’t enough for Dems in 2018.

At this rate, not for a while! Maybe about the same amount of time it'd take Californians to vote in some competence (lol not really).

Not anytime within the 2020s or 2030s, that’s for sure. Florida is the new Texas.

Yeah, though they came close in 2010 and 2014 although these were strong Republican years nationally. Maybe it's more likely to happen when a term-limited Republican governor is very unpopular in his final year in office. I mean Christie 2017 level unpopular.

We have to win FL first we don't know if Gwen Graham or Demings are gonna come back for 26 but Emerson polls show good news for Ds and Scott only won by 0.5 he is vulnerable, he isn't gonna win by 20;like Rubio we know Beto and Christ won't comeback and run

Biden was traveling to AZ, NV, PA, GA, and FL and NC anyways not IA and OH

When Oklahoma votes in a Democrat for the Governorship...

LoL we are tied in an Emerson poll in FL, RS aren't ever again winning FL and OH by 25 pts

FL, OH, NC are still swing states they aren't all white populated it was IAN that turned FL red and it's gone now RS have a 500 K vote lead that can be easily erased but they will continue to dominate the state and Fed Legislatures and so will OH, RS control KY state legislature and Beshear won

TX isn't voting to the left of FL the last QU poll had Beto losing by 15 he lost by 11 game over

Whom is the D chair of TX we have definitely heard of Nikki Fried but none in TX and TX is more right wing on guns than TX that's why Beto lost he was too left wing on guns, FL has red flag laws that's why Biden is campaign in FL, NC and GA not OH and TX he wants universal background checks on Guns

Vance and Cruz are campaigning together on Guns that's why Don Jr went against Ryan on Guns in OH but Brown can squeek by he is the incumbent

I was talking about Ron DeSantis is tanking in the polls because he is a Paul Ryan clone and Biden defeated Ryan in Veep debate already, he said 20 percent Corp taxes are disasterous and Desantis voted for 20 percent taxes in H under Speaker Ryan, not you but Old School doesn't like Joe Kennedy but likes DeSantis or Tim Ryan because Sean Hannity trashed Joe Kennedy and Tim Ryan and Barnes and Beasley

Biden isn't in OH, TX for a reason and Brown can win without Biden split voted Gun control Rick Scott signed red flag laws, due to Parkland and Treyvon Martin Obama and Biden won by 1 and Hillary lost by only 1 and Emerson has it 3 as Gov but we don't have our nominee yet for FL S we should wait, the primary is always late it's Sept of 24 that's why Rs jump out to big leads in FL

I said 300/50 EC votes not 400 that includes AZ, FL, GA and NC, whereas OH and TX gets 400

That's why I want the D's to win the right Hannity and Don Jr Trashes D's not users on forum we are nobody the media makes millions
