Really not sure how you can say this with a straight face. A large chunk of America was a slave society for 250 years, and a racial caste society for another 100. I shouldn't have to explain how that kind of history leaves deep, deep scars which take a lot more than the mere 50 odd years since the end of blatantly institutionalised white supremacy to go away.

Add in all of the people that die today in tech companies' unregulated mines, textile factories, and capitalism and its partner in crime colonialism have a much higher kill count than socialism.

Not to mention that "socialism" in places like Brazil and India created massive middle classes where there were none before.
