https://www.lgbtqnation.com/2023/03/lauren-boebert-rails-against-sex-ed-now-her-teen-son-is-having-a-baby/

And apparently she's still opposed to sex ed and can't seem to connect things here...not surprising though with her apparent intelligence.

Didn't Republicans for decades rant about teen pregnancies? And how that's a loss of family values? We can say it again: It's always projection.

Imagine the outrage if that was Brandon's granddaughter.

The average age of a grandmother was 36 once upon a time in public housing projects (if I recall that was in Atlanta). As much as Republicans chastise minorities and others over the state of their families a lot of them surely do not have their own families in order.

Not really, it means both she and her child had their first child at age 18.

That was clear back in 2008 when they had nothing to say about Bristol Palin's pregnancy.

Bristol’s baby daddy was offered money to appear in gay porn too. He turned it down but it was a legit offer from a gay porn company.

Trashy dropped-out-of-high-school-to-have-a-baby teen parents deserve representation in Congress just as much as any other subgroup of American citizens.  Good for her!

I'll refrain from passing judgement on her or her son, but it sure must be nice to have a family wealthy enough to support a teen pregnancy. Hopefully they don't ever need food stamps/WIC/any "handouts" for their child. Which also includes driving on publicly funded roads to get to the hospital, having doctors who went to public school, sending their kid to public school, etc. And let us pray the hospital where the child is born never received any public funding either. That would be theft.

I'm not going to say this is an example of bad parenting, because quite frankly that's stupid, but I will say it is further evidence that abstinence-only education doesn't work.

Sure; private parks exist and are in fact hugely profitable (though they virtually never try to nickel-and-dime people like this). Even besides theme parks, which are universally private, in the American West there are examples of natural landmarks which are privately-owned -- just in Arizona Antelope Canyon and Meteor Crater come to mind immediately -- and these places are perfectly functional and accessible.

In practice, I think even most hard-conservatives/libertarians tend to be fine with governmental control of really unique natural landmarks, both because there really isn't an enormous history of mismanagement in developed countries and because these places can't really be made interchangeable for other parcels of land, and so 'a market', which requires interchangeability, can't really work. It's better to privatize things where public ownership actually hurts, demoralizes, and impoverishes people, rather than focus on things like this which basically seem fine. If we were going all-out and truly creating the smallest government possible then this sort of thing would have to be on the table, though.

Teens having kids isn't ideal (let's be real), but it's not the worst thing in the world.

Hopefully she finds the time away from Fox News appearances to love her grandchild.

The demonization of teen pregnancies was bipartisan, tbh. Liberals used to harp on that to promote abortion and birth control.

Anyways, nothing wrong with this.

Can anyone confirm whether or not Matt Gaetz was in the vicinity of Boebert's son's 17 year old girlfriend about 7 months ago?
