Perez proves she's a fake populist, and I expect Kent to go after her hard for this vote (since he's probably the most isolationist candidate in the nation)
Maxwell Frost proves he's a fake progressive who's only leftist qualifications is posting cringe on twitter
Hageman is a significant upgrade from Cheney

A much higher percentage of Democrats voted for withdrawal than Republicans. But the GOP has like, totally abandoned neoconservatism or something!

According to the above tweet, 27.2% of Ds vs 21.5% of Rs voted for withdrawal. I dont think a 5.7 point gap  qualifies as much higher percentage.

Why tf should we care about Syria so much? Bring everyone home and let them blow each other up. Such a waste of money and also not our business.

At least with Ukraine it's a pretty clear good vs. evil war

Protecting the Kurds from genocidal regimes with a minimal presence of US peacekeeping troops is good, actually.

“But imperialism” (as if Syria isn’t literally engaging in the exact same thing with the Kurds)

I see people advocating for occupation who I’m sure have skin in the game — thank you for your existing or prior military service.

This certainly is an interested vote. I’d love to put all the Yeas in a room and just see what happens.

Surprised Mace voted Yea, she represents a lot of prominent military bases, like Paris Island.

It's not Assad that they have to worry about. It's Turkey and ISIS.

Maxwell Frost proves he's a fake progressive who's only leftist qualifications is posting cringe on twitter
Hageman is a significant upgrade from Cheney

This isn’t news, normal people don’t care that much about foreign affairs and they’ll vote on an issue by issue basis.

This is a forum about politics. Representatives voting contrary to normal is news to us election nerds

Pull out of Syria. Seriously, why are there? We got bigger and more important wars to worry about than Syria!
