The Lincoln Marshall Plan

Section 1. This bill will be known as the Lincoln Marshall Plan

Section 2; My plan will propose the following:
1. Revitalize and invest in cities of low income & high crime to improve livability. This includes the following:
A. Restoring broken or abandoned housing
B. Increasing police presence in high crime neighborhoods
C. Increase the number of police in high crime neighborhoods and cities
D. Invest in social programs by creating a new Department of Transitional Services which seeks to provide jobs training and guarantees to those who are released from prison.

2. Create union jobs both in fossil fuels and renewable energy determined by state & local demands and needs.

3. If existing abandoned or empty homes cannot be filled, this will clear land as justified under the Climate Act of 2023 to create new neighborhoods for homeless or individuals in poverty with the goal of eventually eliminating poverty.

Promoting Patriotism:
This bill will create a Lincoln Hall of Fame Museum of notable politicians, athletes, musicians and other celebrities who had a positive impact on Lincoln. This will be constructed next to the Capitol.

Section 3: This bill will take place effective immediately

In many neighborhoods of Lincoln, once thriving areas are little more than corpses of its former self. I hope to rejuvenate the once dying areas by bringing it to its former glory, as well as increasing Lincoln patriotism which for a long time has been on the rapid decline.
