DeSantis Disney apointee says tap water turns people gay

There are three possibilities

1. DeSantis agrees with Peri's statements.

2. DeSantis doesn't necessarily agree with Peri's statements, but did not consider them to be disqualifying either.

3. DeSantis did not properly vet Peri and did not know about his beliefs on this subject.

Either of those three explanations is unacceptable and calls into question DeSantis' morality and leadership.
