Opinion of "bandwagon threads"

For example, all the "what is my position on the political spectrum" quizes that popped up after thereckoning made one.

My personal position is that they're annoying and bad, especially considering that the threads that get bandwagoned are usually crap(in one case I made a parody of a dumb thread asking which political position of OP one found most offensive to make fun of it and people started treating it like a trend and started posting the original premise unironically. Yes, I'm bitter.
