I keep seeing "when will x vote *insert color here*", what about Maine? The 2nd district is a Republican pickup in New England, is Maine at large possible with a good push? I know Maine's 1st district is practically MA tier blue.

Probably the next time there's a good environment for a Republican candidate, which 2024 isn't shaping up to be. IIRC, isn't it one of the only states where young voters are more Republican?

Almost did in 2016. I suspect it will in the next election that is both a good year for Republicans and a social moderate

I wouldn’t be surprised if whoever the GOP nominee in 2028 is wins it by a similar margin as Wisconsin or Pennsylvania in 2016.

Idk. Its a secular state so a DeSantis type would not be a good fit. A Trump-2016 type could win it.
