He has connections and ran for Stamford mayor in 2021 but lost....could he give Chris Murphy a challenge in Connecticut's Senate race in 2024? He has name recognition...

Staunch right-winger can't win a statewide race in Connecticut. Even moderate Republican (besides having obvious difficulties in primary) usually can't: good example - Logan narrowly lost a race in relatively favorable district against Democrat, who is, probably, to the left of her district, in 2022 (and statewide it's even more difficult). Trump supporter = "no chances"......

I hope a complete nobody with no media attention wins the Republican nomination here so they don't suck up any money when there are so many more winnable seats. We don't need a Tiffany Smiley 2.0.

Please give me some third party or independent alternative to support and root for. I absolutely can't stand Chris Murphy, but I don't want to support a Republican either. Give me a Libertarian or an independent, please!

He may not win statewide, but he gives the Republicans a respectable 45%-47% of the vote. Yes, he would be running in a presidential year, but Bobby V is well known in the NYC area (Stamford area/New Haven)

Unlikely. Wel-known from nearly successfull 2018 governor race, and still somewhat more moderate Stefanowski got only 43% in 2022. To win general election Republicans need Lowell Weicker-type, but such candidate can't win primary....
