How would the 2015 Canadian Elections have gone without Trudeau

(1/1)

OSR stands with Israel:
Say Trudeau was unable to win a seat in parliament in 2008 which was very close to happening https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_history_of_Justin_Trudeau

Due to this, say Trudeau never leads the liberals as well, how would the 2015 elections have gone. Would Harper have won another term, would Mulcair win or would some other liberal manage the comeback too

Hatman 🍁:
The NDP would've won. Harper was done for, no way he wins. Muclair was moderate enough that usual Liberal voters would've backed him. Trudeau was the only Liberal in the country that could've brought the party back to relevance that quickly.

Would Muclair manage to get a majority or would he get a minority government

Upper Canada Tory:
Mulcair would win a minority government. He would probably get the votes of more left-leaning LPC voters and rely on the LPC caucus in the HoC to pass some of his agenda.

Probably a minority. Depends on who the Liberal leader is, and how the campaign went.
