that is romney's latest excuse for casting his primary vote for tsongas.

i think that is absurd.

tsongas would have easily beaten bush, especially considering tsongas was basically a republican-lite.

by the way, anyone remember rush limbaugh's nickname for tsongas?  paul 'taxongas'  lol.

on a side note, tsongas' widow has said she will run for the seat in ma-05 if and when marty meehan vacates it to become president of umass-lowell.
