As a Clevelander, I'll have to go with Garfield as a dark-horse pick here. Had a very cool life story and intended the best even if he didn't get to do much as President.

Grant's 2nd term pretty much undermined all his accomplishments from his first term

Of course he was racist like all the rest but Dixiecrats were more racist the R party became more right wing after Lincoln death because they became more embedded with Business that's why we had Plessy v Ferguson Segregationist after Civil War it's the Susan Collins party but since Jay Edgar Hoover was appointed FBI Director since 1924 it became more states rights since then with the Reagan era, and of course Woodrow Wilson institute the Income tax and Rs are against high taxes

Booker T Washington visited Teddy Roosevelt WH he didn't visit Grover Cleveland  that's how racist Dixiecrats were they believed in Judicial restraint the Chain Gangs Three Stooges era were fully enforces until 1955 from 1865 where there were no Public Defender for blk men until 1963 and Dixiecrats judges sentences blk men to jail not RS no RS in the Deep South until Nixon

Woodrow Wilson segregationist institute Confederate flag and monument but he is considered a Progressive because of 19 the Amendment, Direct Election of Senate and female right to vote because there wasn't any slavery Industrial revolution started newspaper factory jobs  during TV and radio era

Jefferson thru Cleveland weren't progressive because they lived in 1800 not 1900 during the Labor Movt after slavery

Lincoln thru Eisenhower Susan Collins RS even Hoover raised taxes

Jefferson thru Wilson Jefferson Davis boss Hog and they were short Dixiecrats 5/4 not 6/0 like Sorrell Brooks Dukes of Hazzard

We must put politicians where they were in their time, not in our time like users on this site think that Chain Gangs weren't a factor do you know there were Dixiecrats until JFK era due to fact no public Defender until 1963 and Dixiecrat judges sentences blk men to Chain Gangs, like Turner Jefferson or Cleveland lol there were Chain Gangs and lynching not just Segregationist and Woodrow Wilson and Bryan Jennings supported the Confederate Flagstaff

Emit Till was put to death because there were no Chain Gangs after 1955 and he was too young to go to prisoner

Sorrell Booke or Boss Hogg had a sunny disposition and not overtly racist just like Jefferson was he believed the Crts should be used for Criminal activity like putting blks into chain Gangs or whipping blks because civil law like Bankruptcy deals with Federal not State statute

I'd still pick Grant but otherwise I think the very same (surprisingly enough - it is well-known that I agree with Nathan 99% of the time so it must follow that I disagree with you 99% of the time). I am particularly fond of Garfield publishing a new proof of Pythagoras' Theorem, of course.

Grant and Harrison were the best. I voted Harrison since no one else did.

Grant, if you bring all these Prez back to LIFE GRANT LINCOLN, TEDDY ROOSEVELT WOULD BE SUSAN COLLINS, Kelly Ayotte, McCain and Olympia Snowe Conserv with small tax increases but get rebates from your Income tax, and Jefferson would be a classic Jefferson Davis Boss Hogg and Wilson states rights but not supporting the removal of Confederate monuments in the Deep South and South would be more like South Africa and could of been a separate nation the 7 states that supports a National economy are VA, FL, TX, AK, CA, NY and IL  anyways
