You can tell he is starting to feel the noose around his neck — poor, whiny Don just keeps projecting and crying even more.

If Trump wasn't worried about DeSantis he would be basically ignoring DeSantis, he isn't, so he's worried. Watch what Don the Con does or says, not what he claims, then you've your answer. Trump is whining and bleating about DeSantis because he wrongly assumes that DeSantis gives a crap about what he thinks or is bloviating about. Also if Trump believes DeSantis that DeSantis should be loyal to him, DeSantis views Trump's standards of loyalty as a joke! He probably has guessed that loyalty is a one way street with Trump and its something that is never reciprocated! So if I were Donnie, I'd forget the loyalty litmus test, it's as useful as that extra teet on a bull! Speaking of Bull, I've a suggestion for Trump, quit with the bull it ain't gonna help you. Just stop whining, if you believe that you should be our party's nominee, you're gonna have to earn it, like everyone else, hey Don, you claim you're a winner, then you should've no problem, shouldn't you? But something tells me Trump is full of hot air...no surprise there and he knows that DeSantis is gonna school him and that's why we hear Trump whining like a little b*tch!

@President Stanton,
Donald Trump is such a Clown and full of nonsense. I actually can make a good case that Trump was costing DeSantis Votes during the General Election with Gillum in 2018. Let's face it: That 2018 FL Governor Race should have never, ever been this close as it was against a Bernie Sanders type of Socialist. By picking a Cuban-Hispanic in Jeanette Nunez as Running Mate DeSantis overperformed in Miami-Dade County relative to the Donald Trump - Hillary Clinton 2016 Race in FL. Trump got only 34 % in Dade County during the 2016 FL Presidential Election while DeSantis nearly got 40 % in the same County during the 2018 Governor Race.
Trump was costing DeSantis Votes in Counties like Duval, Seminole, Hillsborough and Pinellas and Trump comes out and says "Without me Ron would not be Governor?" GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Maybe DeSantis shouldn't have said that "monkey this up" language which was considered racist and supercharged black turnout in return?

DeSantis is Trump without the entertainment value. And unlike many MAGA grifters, including arguably Trump himself, the man is a True Believer in his seething hatred of the libs and LGBTQ people. Imagine if Sam Alito was the Governor of a large state.

In that sense, he’s “scarier”, though with Haley and potentially several others also running, we’ll almost certainly see a repeat of 2016 in the primaries. Great job at “moving past Trump.”

That's a interesting point of view and I don't say it's not correct, but DeSantis wouldn't have won the primary without Trump's endorsement. He was just a backbencher in congress who fully jumped on the Trump train at the time to win the God Emperor's grace. In that sense, Trump isn't totally wrong that he wouldn't be governor without him. If Trump endorsed Putnam in the primary, he would have won. And probably the general election by slightly more as well.

If Trump was so good why didn't DeSantis win Pinellas County. DeSantis lost Pinellas, Duval, Hillsborough and Seminole by a bigger margin compared to Trump in 2016 against Hillary.
Trump might have been as you say a Net + for DeSantis in the Primary but in the GE against Gillum he was a massive drag for DeSantis and Rick Scott as well.

Jeanette Nunez was a Florida State Legislator from Miami-Dade County and I can make a good case that she in the end, saved DeSantis and not Trumps repeated visits to the State.

If you take a look at the Miami-Dade County Precinct-by-Precinct Data from 2016 and 2018 you will see that DeSantis overperformed in Hispanic Areas compared to Trump 2016.

Hahahahahaha what a little bitch. Shows what kind of a president he'd be, too, when faced with a difficult decision.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you, Ronnie. You'd better learn your place before the GOAT humiliates you in front of your family on national television and then your wife leaves you for the TRUE sigma male in this race.

Trump is clearly deluded and if he thinks or believes that DeSantis wins because of him; He won despite Trump, there's a correlation between Trump's intervention and his non intervention in an election contest! Those candidates who Trump "assisted" or endorsed they lose or lost versus those races where Trump wasn't a factor, particularly in the last cycle (e.g. DeSantis in Florida, Dewine in Ohio and Kemp in Georgia are perfect examples) who won big! So that's why DeSantis isn't gonna take Trump or his dumba*s arguments seriously. As I stated before in another post, Trump is whining because he probably realizes that DeSantis can beat him & he's behaving like a scared little whiny bi*ch! Hey Donnie if you think you're such a big winner, then why are you even mentioning any of your potential rivals? You should have the nomination in the bag, right? No one owes you anything, least of all loyalty. No wonder Democrats and sleepy Joe are salivating at the prospect of facing Trump, because they know what, the rest of us know, that Trump is an incompetent bo*b, and they'll beat him like a drum!
