https://nypost.com/2023/01/09/tennessee-cops-married-female-officer-fired-after-repeated-wild-sex-romps/

Quote
A small Tennessee police station has been rocked by allegations of wild sexual misconduct, after a married female officer allegedly had steamy romps with six male officers, including illicit on-duty liaisons, according to reports.

Officer Maegan Hall and her fellow law officers allegedly engaged in wild sexcapades that included sending dirty pictures, taking her top off at a “Girls Gone Wild” hot tub party, and even having oral sex with two officers at the La Vergne, Tenn., police station, WTVF TV reported.

The steamy shenanigans — in which Hall allegedly bragged about the size of one partner’s genitals and claimed to be in an “open marriage” — not only led Hall to be canned, but led to the firings of Sgt. Lewis Powell, Officer Juan Lugo, Sgt. Ty McGowan and Detective Seneca Shields, according to a December internal investigation.

Two other officers who allegedly had romps with Hall — Patrick Magliocco and Larry Holladay — kept their jobs but wound up suspended, according to the reports.

The extracurricular trysts took place at hotels and parties at other officers’ houses and on a boat, while Hall was also accused of performing oral sex on Powell and Shields while on duty at the police station and police gym, according to the Dec. 28 internal report.

Except for the one line where it says some stuff happened on duty, seems like it was all consensual and didn't interfere with their work. Really, I'd much rather my local police station destress by shooting their loads at each other instead of at innocent civilians.

It's better than police brutality and corruption. But of course somewhere very socially conservative is going to take them more seriously than it needs to be. Of course having sex on duty is a bad idea because it could distract from the duties of the job, but I think a suspension would have been more appropriate than a firing.

Upon looking further at the article I see that two of the officers she had sex with were Black, so I'm sure that was a big mark against her and then. MISCEGENATION, OMG!

It definitely can be. But if you put a bunch of people in the same environment and they spend enough time together, eventually they will f*** each other soon enough.
Even purported workplace bans on sex are less total bans on it and rather requirements that you run it through HR.

I think you're misunderstanding, they were on-duty while this happened, meaning they were not only getting paid to do this when they should have been working, but due to the nature of their job, they were potentially putting civilian lives at risk by doing something else instead of being at the ready.

There is no HR department or company that would be ok with employees having sex on the clock/ which is the problem here

These firings are completely appropriate

That's not a bad rationale for the firing. I didn't look too far into the scale they did this either.
Whole hours of sex in hotel rooms while counting it as being "on duty" is not at all professional and it's important to maintain some kind of standards.

If you recognize that work is simply a scam to keep Mankind enslaved, and that in this age of atomization fewer and fewer human connections are being made, you will be forced to conclude that this is perhaps the most productive use of time on the clock.

Yeah, one always looks absolutely stupid when they confidently make an assumption based on their own stereotypes and prejudices, only to be proven entirely wrong.

Like not everything needs to be about trying to "own the cons" or whatever when conservative/liberal really doesn't have anything to do with it. ESPECIALLY not if you can't research your facts first. Because then you often end up scoring own goals, as was the case here.

I didn't know that, but nonetheless management in police department s is almost always more conservative. Even if you take the racial element out it's not at all impossible that an unarmed police shooting would have been treated with less strict action.

Maybe research next time when it literally takes two minutes to find out? Instead of making a completely wrong assertion?

Now that you've done that, while your point may not be wrong, it's kind of tough to argue the complete opposite.

She sounds like she is experiencing a self-destructive episode. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of these people wasn't taking advantage of her in some way. I hope she is able to get the help that she needs.

Dr Scholl with the most ghoulish takes in the thread. Good work buddy.

Generally I don't look up demographics for every single article I read. With that said a city being majority-minority doesn't make it liberal and second I doubt the leadership of the police department is anything but conservative.
