But it’s ready for a trans president?
I think it's possible. Hypothetically a trans candidate that ran in 2020 would've done similarly with LGBT voters than Obama got with Blacks in 2008 and it's not like a significant number of anti-trans voters were going to vote for Biden in the first place. Disdain for Islam seems to be relatively flatlined while trans rights seem to be disproportionately among Evangelicals who are mostly older and most Conservative Blacks would overlook Peeb's sexual orientation or stay home, not helping Abdullah. That is unless some kind of massive trans backlash takes place. Also a trans nominee for governor in Texas outperformed Obama against Romney, getting more than 40% in a state full of Evangelicals.
