Musk is an attention-addicted clown. Example #9267.

It seems that he will still be the owner of Twitter (which is a more important position in the funny world of capitalism and business). I assume that one of his allies and/or proteges will be the one posting these polls and making announcements from now on.

I'm not sure anyone wants that.

So he's actually going to step down, or was that just a publicity stunt? Anyway, I'm not sure it really matters in the end whether he's running Twitter into the ground himself or some puppet CEO.

What matters is we publicly humiliated this doofus on his own platform.

My guess is he names Peter Thiel to be the new CEO

Thiel has things he'd rather do than be Wehner Von Musk's muppet/scapegoat at Twitter.

He was always going to step down. He was saying his CEO position was temporary a month ago. He's had his fun, and now he's bored, so he'll find a sacrifical acolyte to take over. Nothing real will change.

The poll was closed ten hours ago or so. Since then he has retweeted a SpaceX tweet and a tweet by Michael Shellenberger on the "Twitter Files".

No statement yet on the outcome of the poll itself.

Oh no, this is going to sway BRTD's vote:

Yep I voted No as well.

I wonder if you'll end up in a Yes or No precinct.

He just wants to get on a Space Ship to Mars. Not sure he even wants to come back.

That's mutually beneficial-to both him and the rest of humanity.

(By the way, this is one of the most fun threads I've read and participated in for a while).

Almost 20 hours since the end of the poll.

No "the people have spoken" yet.

So far he still has mostly retweeted stuff from SpaceX's, Tesla's, and Twitter Business' accounts. Oh, well, and he posted "stats" on the world cup on Twitter.

Yes. In his documentary, I think his mother mentioned that he wants to be the first man on Mars, even if he cannot return.

Still no reaction at all.

I guess he'll step down, let someone else do his bidding after he never intended something else. The poll was just a PR stunt in that regard. Or he got bored of Twitter anyways.

This is Musk's "reaction" to the poll results.

What are "blue subscribers," anyway? (Not familiar with Twitterspeak, and proud to say I don't have an account on "the Bird App" and have literally never used it - though I have seen enough tweets, courtesy of this site, and have visited the site a couple times.)
