The amendment sponsor shall have 24 hours to object to the decision by the PPT and may overturn the action with the concurrence of 1/3rd of his fellow Senators.

According to the rules, only the amendment sponsor may motion to override a determination of frivolity. You werent the amendment sponsor and therefore could not make an override objection. I assume you know the rules. The logical interpretation of "can we vote" from you (not the amendment sponsor) is that you were motioning for a final vote since there was nothing else to vote on.

I checked the rules and there is no guidance on withdrawing a motion after a vote has already started.

The rules do say "If an objection is made, then a vote shall be opened on ending debate." Shall is mandatory so the objection by WM triggered the vote automatically. The rules dont say anything about me being able to stop a vote once it has started.

Again shall is mandatory so I think my hands are tied.

The fanciful delusions on the part of the Fremontian irredenta knows neither the bounds of reasons, nor that of the rule of law.

Kansas has never been a part of the Fremont region, and the present Fremont government has made it abundantly clear that it stands with the Atlasian constitution on this matter.

Kansas is not "occupied territory", Kansas is a lawful component of the Southern region and of the Upper South Sub Region that I represent and has been so for far longer than the vast majority of players have been in this game at this point.
