As a Possible Indictment Looms, Trump’s Team Plans to Attack
If the former president faces criminal charges, his campaign plans to begin a broad offensive against Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney and a Democrat, accusing him of political bias.

Quote
As former President Donald J. Trump faces likely criminal charges, his campaign is preparing to wage a political war.

With an indictment looming from the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin L. Bragg, Mr. Trump’s campaign is laying the groundwork for a broad attack on Mr. Bragg, a Democrat. According to two of Mr. Trump’s political allies, the campaign will aim to portray any charges as part of a coordinated offensive by the Democratic Party against Mr. Trump, who is trying to become only the second former president to win a new term after leaving office.

It is unclear what data points, if any, the Trump team plans to point to beyond Mr. Bragg’s party registration in order to make a case that the district attorney is part of a broader political conspiracy against the former president.

[...]

Mr. Trump’s two allies said his campaign was adding staff members, particularly to focus on pushing out their message and their attacks on the prosecutors. In addition, the campaign has been putting together a database listing everyone — members of Congress, legal experts, media figures — who have cast doubts on the strength of the district attorney’s case, the allies said.

An indictment means like Impeachment probable cause for a conviction just like to be removed from office you need a jury to convict you and an all white jury male or female like in S can Acquit Trump and even if convict there is a 6/3 R SCOTUS Roberts won t acquit Trump but there are 5 Conservatives that can, the SCOTUS can stay his Trump prison time until the Appeals go thru anyways

So all this indictment stuff is not a big deal because it means Prosecute not convicted Trump is likely to fave civil penalties should he not become Prez anyways,

Trump like Bannon if convicted can appeal his sentence to avoid jail time

Trump and DeSantis are both losing in QU poll because we have the 303 and the H the S is up for grabs due to MT, OH, AZ and MO replaces WV should Manchin retire forget TX and FL

It's probably time for a separate thread for the pending Manhattan indictment.  Anyone feel like starting one with a summary of what's known so far?

The "Law enforcement preparing for Trump indictment as early as next week" seems like a good one, I just quoted everything into it.

I suggest waiting until the ball actually, presumably, drops sometime next week, and start the mega thread there.

Am I the only person who feels this could backfire and help him? At least that seemed to be the case after the FBI raid but then again this seems like if he gets arrested (which I doubt he'll serve anytime) then that'll have a longer lasting impact.

I think it will help him in the primary but not the general.

He won't serve time if all they can get is the misdemeanor but if they can get the felony upgrade he might serve time. That could be house arrest though, who knows.

They are going after Hunter Biden so they are both corrupted and Pelosi didn't hold a single hearing on Hunter

No one is donate to campaigns like it's 2012/16/20; anyways

Trump crimes are much worse than Biden but surely RFK Jr if he became the nominee would be able to have a clean sleight and lead us to the Secularist Filibuster proof Trifecta right now Biden is hoping to do that but it's not guarehtees that's why he will get his matching funds to get reelected but he won't get the online donations like 20

Obama picked Biden too he could of done better with Warner or Kaine not Bayh and Bobby Scott could be in either VA S seat
