Christmas comes but once a year but you can really feel the anxiety if you're shopping on a small budget and then you remember, "Oh I did to buy so and so a present too".

I recommend finding a good hot chocolatier (we have one in Boston called Burdick's) or going into any cafe and getting a hot cocoa and just sitting for a while and not thinking about the part of it that's the frantic and fast-paced shopping mania.

I don't think HR allow Christmas decorations anymore in case someone offends the other employees.

I dont think you can say "Merry Christmas" anymore either.

Not really. I don't care much about material presents anymore - the best present I ever got was a few years ago, when I got to sit in a flying chair.
