Those who voted Republican in 2016 and 2020 mostly fall in line behind Ron DeSantis but Donald Trump's most diehard supporters continue to support him come hell or high water. The presence of the MAGAA faction doesn't help Kamala Harris to garner electoral votes the way the Republican split in 1912 helped Woodrow Wilson but she still manages to hold everything Biden carried in 2020 with the exception of Nebraska's 2nd District and picks up some combination of North Carolina, Texas, Ohio, and maybe even Alaska.

It'd probably look like for most of the election that Harris was going to win due to the split, and then at the end a lot of voters switch from Trump to DeSantis and DeSantis wins.

I don't know how delusional you have to be to believe this, but this is coming across as just a massive cope. You think he would barely do better than Gary Johnson in 2016? You really believe this?
