States you hate the most based on sports teams

TF did we do? The Dodgers and the Warriors are a bunch of a-holes, sure, but not even remotely on the level of Yankees, Patriots, or Astros fans.

The California team I despise the most is the Lakers, given they are a bitter rival of the Blazers and their fanbase is probably the most annoying by far. It was so god damn glorious watching the Pistons obliterate them in 2004, Celtics embarrass them in 2008, them crashing and burning in 2012-13 after how utterly arrogant and pompous their fans were entering the season and them sucking from 2014-2018 was so glorious to watch. Also the non stop adulation the sports media gives them is beyond nauseating so that adds up to this as well. I also dislike the Warriors a great deal after they added Durant to a 73 win team which utterly ruined the NBA for a couple years and it really was the worst case of a super team I have ever seen.

As for College Football , Trojan fans were super super annoying in their hey day back in the 2000s and the amount of bandwagon fans they had were super annoying as well. So watching them collapse in the 2010s was glorious but sadly they are back now ugh. On the other hand I really really dislike Stanford given how many times they have stopped Oregon's championship hopes over and over(2012 was the worst).

You sound like my mom when it comes to football lol . During the vast majority of football matches , she basically takes her laptop or IPAD goes upstairs and closes the room lol as my dad and I can be yelling during matches lol .

I mean, I enjoyed getting to spend time with my loved one(s) who enjoy the sport...And I'll even have fun at a game (mostly for the theatrics, food, atmosphere, etc) but overall I definitely don't "get" it per se and wouldn't say it gets me excited, lol.

Whatever people can find joy in though, I'm all for it.

(And yes, probably be on my phone for half of it.)

I guess for me it's more just LA, hate the Lakers and USC, but respect the Warriors and Stanford football.

Massachusetts is an easy first, Red Sox and Patriots. Maryland is second for the Ravens. California is third for the Warriors and Lakers, and was second when the Cavaliers were still contenders for almost keeping the Cleveland Curse going.

Florida (Magic, Marlins a long time ago) and Pennsylvania (Steelers) round out the list mainly for historical reasons.

Michigan doesn't make the cut because I'm not into college sports. Neither does New York honestly, the Yankees have not been effective villains for the past decade and I have positive opinions of teams like the Bills.

I added Texas on there because of the Texas Longhorns (I went to Oklahoma for college) and the Cowboys.
