If it were an R vs R general election, Newhouse, since he will draw over pretty much all Democrats. But in an R vs. R vs. D primary? Smiley would have a solid chance, especially since any jitters of primary from the right in Washington post-Kemp wouldn't really apply in such a conservative district.
