Taft has slightly more Western appeal than Dewey and wins his home state of Ohio. New York, Pennsylvania and Michigan go to Truman due to Truman crushing Taft in the urban vote. Popular vote is 51-43 or so. Eisenhower has a more straightforward path to the 1952 GOP nomination (he relied mostly on Taft's campaign effing up at the convention in the actual TL).
