Lol at atlas leftists still choosing Gravel as if it's not clear to everyone that he'd throw Ukraine to the wolves and legitimize Russian genocide by faulting NATO (not that supporting an old man handled by a bunch of high school tankies was not insane already)

Well he's a funny option so who cares like objectively a 90 year old man running for president who has a unique perspective and has done quite a few good things in his career, yeah I might vote for him over some other bland politicians.

Also he died before the Ukraine war even broke out. I don't think this factored into anyone's decision.

Both the 2020 Dem and 2016 GOP primaries had just about everyone and their pet hamsters running because they thought the election was so winnable.

And to be fair, they were right in both cases.

Initially I supported Harris, though wouldn't anymore.

As of 2019, my list would have been:

1. Harris
2. Bullock
3. Biden
4. Butti
5. Warren

As of today:

1. Biden
2. Bullock
3. Warren
4. Butti
5. Booker

That's as of today, though? I'm sure Biden would have been nowhere near your top five in 2019/20? Tongue

Yeah, definitely. My top choice rotated between Sanders, Warren, Beto, and Buttigieg. Then Beto turned out to be a flop, Warren lied about Sanders, and Buttigieg just fell out of step with me although I do think his approvals might be better today because it just feels like Biden's mostly been out of the spotlight until fairly recently.* I'd put Klobuchar over him today because even though their politics are similar, she's simply accomplished more.

*Not nearly as much as Harris though, but that's probably a good thing.

This is with hindsight during the primary I had a much higher opinion of Yang and Gabbard and would probably include them in my top 5. Now with hindsight, they're nowhere near it, also what Willamson has done for progressive candidates across the country since 2020 has significantly raised my opinion of her. I got to meet her recently and shes a great person.
