I would assume that the idiotic Trump/DeSantis ticket forgot about the rule that the President/VP can't be from the same state.

The only explanation would be that Republicans finally become complacent enough to accept that their state is safe R and only the few Democrats left in the state end up turning out.

If Florida is flipping so is North Carolina, so I’d wake up.

I think everyone would just start treating Florida like it's on an alien creature on a bunch of cocaine at that point.

Wouldn't be entirely surprising. My understanding is that Hispanic voters often have a tendency to support incumbents. And if there's a contested Republican primary in 2024, where Floridians support DeSantis but Trump wins overall, that could perhaps lower Republican turnout in the general thanks to some disillusionment.

Add in actually decent Dem campaigning there and it's possible, though certainly not the most likely result.

I'd wake up.

That said, the nominee must have been someone like Pence. That said, if Biden carries FL here, he's also winning NC.

I would congratulate President Biden for having toppled the Castro and Maduro regimes.
