In between both extremes. They need to invest something to attack Hogan/tie Dem nominee to Biden, but I still am not convinced the race will be close in the end as long as Democrats don't complete ignore the race.

I am keeping it as Likely D.

ye agree with poster above in-between both extremes. I think just spending a little to tie Hogan enough to Trump/federal Rs would put the race out of reach for him. He's already struggled to carve out clear stances on major issues like abortion which isn't going to play well in a Biden + 33 state.

This is Hogan's seat.
Dems better not spend a dime here.

Alsobrooks will be fine with the state party at her back. I really don't think Hogan can win when the election actually starts.

My thoughts exactly.

I support Alsobrooks, and don't like Trone.

But the silver lining with Trone is that he has unlimited resources so that the DSCC can focus on battlegrounds. He has the funds to run attack ads that erode Hogan's cross party appeal.

If Trone loses it would be smart of him to fund the race on Alsobrooks’ behalf.

Why on earth would he do that?

The state party should fund the democrat campaing: soem ads and some ralllies on democrat trending areas. Maybe some DNC funds if Hogan is polling too well.

Do a decent ad blitz early and nuke him before it gets harder to do so later in the campaign.

Just run ads saying the words "Hogan" "Trump" and "abortion" over and over again. Sure, it's not sophisticated, but it's cheap and it'll get it done in a D+30 state like Maryland.
