Medved was a failed movie critic who gained a tiny modicum of note by serving as James Dobson's favorite film critic for awhile. Though Jewish, Medved was frequently featured on Dobson's Focus on the Family broadcast. He screeched about Hollywood's anti-Christian bias in the movies. He sounded like a "victim" then and is even worse now that he has annointed himself "the next Rush Limbaugh".
I have never understood why some Conservatives gravitate to people like this, when they have brilliant commentators at their disposal like George Will, Thomas Sowell, Bill Buckley, et al... I may not agree with them, but they are decent and highly intelligent.
