Do you think Trump could have won these three states had he simply campaigned there more?  Looking at the margins, it seems like he easily could have.

Depends if the Democrats didn't put up Joe Biden or a strong candidate. Bonus if there was no COVID, he would have flipped Minnesota and New Hampshire.

If all else stayed the same, I meant.  And why are you mentioning COVID?  I am talking about the 2016 election in a 2016 election board.

Why would Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania flip back to Hillary Clinton if Trump wins Minnesota and New Hampshire?

If it wasn't for the "grab em" tape, I suspect Trump would have carried MN, NH, NV and maybe Maine. Probably tied the popular vote.

The bogus Comey press conference evens it out.

I dunno, Trump is doing so well in the 2024 primary because of an INDICTMENT. After seeing it, I thought he was done. Apparently not even close.

Maybe Ron DeSantis will become like Ron Paul and sneak his way to the nomination in a contested convention.

Absolutely. If he ran a more disciplined general election campaign and even more focussed on a number of issues.

I guess someone running on the outsider mantle with more charisma and discipline would have run over a Hillary. Maybe even more so with an outsider running as Democratic candidate against Jeb (not necessarily Bernie though).

With election results and a map like this, I wonder how much bigger Republican wins down-ballot would have been.

If Hillary Clinton performed that badly nationwide, Nevada would have probably gone into Trump's column, too.

In down-ballot races, Republicans would have likely kept their Senate seat in New Hampshire and flip a Senate seat in Nevada, leaving a 54 (R) - 46 (D) Senate.
