I can only speak for myself -- when he did the TV show.  He never held any personal appeal to me.

He's very rich, which I'd like to be too, but I don't admire him for being rich.  There's a lot of rich people.

I also think he's sloppy - and in politics and in governance, "sloppy" is not desirable.

Basically he's like an orange version of Jabba the Hutt - a sleazelord aligned with the Evil Empire when it suits him, but ultimately it's all about himself.
