9-19 now. Have the TV on in the background.

As long as we beat Wales it's all good. Wink

Game over. 9-19. Smiley.

First on the road to the grand slam. (Well, not if we play like that - the Welsh rabble forward line was not up to much.)

Afleitch, The game is on RTE aswell. Smiley

Could be worse, could be worse. You could be Irish (losing like that sucks, it really does. My deepest symphathies to ye all).

Not referring to anyone in particular by that post, no? Wink

Somehow I'm not surprised by what happened today - the whole "We're going to win the Grand Slam" thing was undoubtely going to deflate in the least glorious way possible.

I've always loathed the England rugby (union) team, so this is good also Smiley

Strongbow is that sh*tty "cider" isn't it?

Yes, but Strongbow is also the name of the Norman Lord who with local assistance became King of Lenister in c12 Century, thus starting English dominance over Ireland.

Easy to get the two confused, isn't it?

Well, there's a game that will last long in the list of great Irish sporting moments, and indeed Irish history generally with God Save The Queen being played in Croke Park.

Indeed. Though I really get understand all the fuss, It wasn't like the English Rugby team were going to charge into Croke Park armed with Machine Guns and fire randomly into the air?

I can't believe I'm saying this but.... COME ON ENGLAND!

I'm tired of winning the Triple crown every year while France always win the Championship, which we haven't won since 1983 - it's ourrrrrr tuuurrrrrrnnn.
