I'd think that similar to Brazil it'd actually be quite swingy with evangelicals giving Rs a very good chance.

Seems like a Southern state demographically but the urban area would keep it Dem for longer. Likely solid D historically, only voting R for Hoover and Nixon (by a slim margin) but with Reps rapidly accelerating since the 1990's, finally flipping in 2016 and remaining heavily Rep for the foreseeable future.
