Imagine being a two- soon to be three-term senator and poll at zero in a presidential primary poll in your homestate.

If he actually has a shot beating Trump here and DeSantis is actually smart, he should push the legislature to move the primary election even to February. An early Florida win would give him a lot of momentum even ahead of Super Tuesday.
