This is an underwhelming result for Schmitt, although he should win by double digits in the end.

She’ll probably get something close to 42% in the end (closer to 40% if I had to guess), yes.

I think Schmitt wins by a very similar margin to Trump 2020. I highly doubt he crosses 60% (which is almost impossible for an R in Missouri as the state is too polarized for that.)

Nine points would actually be underwhelming here, especially in this environment. Polls just seem to get the margins wrong in several races that weren't competitive this year. In both directions.
