Every human deserves Hell because we're fallen creatures in a world that has been broken by sin.  Apart from God's grace and the propitiatory nature of Jesus' death, Hell is simply our natural state of being.

It's evil to believe that otherwise productive members of society who disagree with your interpretation of an ancient religious text deserve to go to hell, but I don't think the misguided people who believe that are evil.

Yes, though it is common among many kinds of Christians to wish to save someone from Hell who they also would say are deserving of Hell.    So  "deserve" clearly has a more complex meaning here.

Ferguson made this thread in response to the professed beliefs of a Muslim user, not too long after calling me “Islamophobic” for similarly disparaging the doctrines of Islam. So yes, I couldn’t help but point out this glaring hypocrisy. Glad I could clear that up.

If this is true, then God cannot be both omnipotent and omnibenevolent. Otherwise, there would be no reason for him to accept this “natural” state of affairs and not rescue every human being from Hell.

Not everyone in Hell wants to be rescued nor will appreciate it, and this is without even going into "actions have consequences".
