Yeah, Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger have already been floated as candidates, but I think the J6 committee has made them non-starters for most of the current R caucus.

I think it would end up being someone completely out of the blue. A Republican that is moderate enough to not lose too many Democratic votes—someone like Olympia Snowe, Arnold Schwarzenegger, or Brian Sandoval.
