Man, I'm so happy I have off today.  Only four hours of sleep last night and I am wiped.  Lots of leftover pizza and soda, though! And may not need to report in tomorrow, but haven't heard yet.  If that's the case, it's gonna be a nap day, too Smiley

Wish I had taken today off... unfortunately with all of the recent factory furloughs, was not able to in order to converse PTO.

I like to start from the bottom of recent updates and am currently on page #194 and still marching towards #236.

Might need to cheat and fast forward, since this will likely be (30) minutes of reading. Sad
Nice to see you here today! I wish you the best! That's a lot to read.

My dad has been insufferable about this. Should I send him about this now that it looks like CCM and Kelly are pulling ahead?

Maybe you should wait until it's beyond doubt. Then surprise him.

If CCM and Kelly both win then Dems keep the senate and Walker is DOA in the runoff.

Hobbs pulling out the win, even by a squeaker, would be one of the most satisfying outcomes of the entire election.

And I get fewer ads. Win all the way around.

A few years ago he was going on and on about how Perdue was going to win due to black farmers and I still have never said anything about it.

This NV senate race needs to be called because CCM is STILL flooding my inbox.

I got 5 emails from Raphael Warnock this afternoon. I have never followed/supported him, nor am I a registered Democrat, nor have I donated to any Democrats. I have been getting spammed by Democrats since I donated to the Brady Center after Uvalde.

Is this a personification of NV's counting speed, or CCM channelling Philly Sleepy Joe two years ago?

Everyone said she was running the worst campaign in the country and that she was such a fool for refusing to debate a woman who as a TV anchor for 25 years... feels pretty good to be vindicated (knock on wood)

If Senate control has already been decided, high-propensity voters are going to be the ones turning out. As we've seen this cycle, they favor Democrats.

The theory is that Republican voters would be less motivated to turn out for Walker if the race doesn't decide the Senate majority.

No motivation for GOP voters to turn out for a scandal-plagued Walker if it won’t even give them Senate control.

I'm feeling very good about Arizona but Nevada still has me nervous. What's Ralston saying?

Rarely anything of value. The best stuff he ever says are retweets of people that act professionally.

I find it hilarious how much you hate him lol

I don't hate him, I'm just tired of all his nonstop BS.

Control of the senate is no longer on the line so turnout would be drastically reduced. It would likely come down to a personal vote, which Warnock would win easily. A bunch of soft Walker/strong Kemp voters might stay home.

Warnock is less likely to have this problem as his supporters genuinely like him and the Black church/liberal college whites will show up en masse for him no matter what.

I guess. But on the other hand R's have historically done much better in the run off than on election day in GA, and 2020 may have been an anomaly because Trump was telling his supporters GA elections were rigged.

Yes, but OTOH, recent elections have seen absurd levels of turnout while Georgia and the broader Democratic Party have also undergone shifts that have whittled down the GOP's advantages in areas like this.

They very well could turn out more anyway, but yeah, I’m sure there will be less of an intense push by the GOP to elect Walker and less voter enthusiasm for him if the race doesn’t decide Senate control.

Even more so than Fetterman/Shapiro winning (and it not being close)?

Not surprising, Calvert has never been popular in the district, he always just relied on the heavy partisan skew.

Heck, he'd probably love to be a DC insider elitist in some deep R, Trump+40 district.
