It's over. This is Leavitt's home turf and Pappas is actually overperforming his 2020 results.

Calling NH-1 for Chris Pappas

Paulding County, GA reports a huge jump in Republican vote from +29R to +49R.  Nothing to indicate why--especially since every surrounding county is showing roughly similar numbers to 2021.

Plenty of vote left in metro Atlanta counties--red counties have reported at higher percentages so far.

I wouldn't have voted for him but I do commend Fung for running a relatively positive campaign in such a polarized environment. I think he forget this was still a Biden + 13 district and didn't make enough of an effort to differentiate himself from national Rs.

I am comfortable enough now to say that this is the most pathetic performance for an out-of-power party since 2002, Florida's wackiness notwithstanding.
So much copium.

You may net just barely enough seats to win the House and the Senate is still a toss-up.

There is no universe in which this is the "wave" I was promised.

Sounds like you're the one inhaling copium.
This is a mirage, still loads of ED left.

Wow. Imagine if Warnock was discovered to have paid for multiple abortions, denied it, and had his own son trash him on social media. This race would be long over.

Per usual, Democrats are held to higher standards than Republicans. Hopefully the reasonable side wins out here.

Is GA really looking like Walker +1.8? Isn't a ton of the vote out from more blue areas?

I don't see it. We've more or less now went from having more D urban vote and R rural vote in relative to the statewide total to now seeing almost all the bigger R counties zoom ahead of the state. The only large R county with little vote in as of now is Columbia County (pop 160k), with Forsyth (250k) just slightly behind the state in terms of reporting. Walton (95k) is a mid-sized heavily-R county where we have nothing yet as well.

Fulton (1070k) and Dekalb (760k) still tracking with the state in this regard, Cobb (770k) slightly behind and Gwinnett (960k) way behind - Bibb (160k) and Dougherty (85k) have almost nothing in yet as well.

I'm feeling better and better about Warnock leading at the end of the count - runoff or not.

NBC switching NC-SEN from too early to call to too close to call.
Looking at different NC counties, most heavily red counties have 70%+ of the vote in (my home county of Iredell is already at 93% reporting). Meanwhile Wake, Mecklenburg, and Guilford (the three most populous counties in the state and reliably blue) have only 56%, 59%, and 60% of the vote in.

It's gonna be a close one.

Paulding county certainly is an error on NYT impacting the needle in GA. All other sites have a more reasonable result close to the 2020 results, as opposed to the +50 R 20 point swing on NYT to Bush 2004 southern suburb dominance.

Hell, I just give him credit for conceding, that's how low the bar is for Rs now.

What is also weird is the difference between Flowers and Warnock percentages in Paulding. MTG is controversial but is she really underperforming Walker by roughly 13%

That must be an error. Kemp is at 66%, Walker should be at 64%, not 74%. Good for the reverend.

Lackawanna County is 92% in.

Fetterman +16, 57-41. Biden +8 in 2020. This is the exact type of place that Fetterman wanted to outperform.

Tag-team with wbrocks:

Another PA county largely finishes its count (~91%)

Lycoming County -- home of Williamsport and the Little League World Series: Oz leads 68-29

Trump won here 70-29 in 2020.
