Idk if it's just me but Indiana, does the map seem even more polarized than 2020 so far?
Not really, Urban and Rural counties are Young 5% less than Trump in 2020.
But it's the early vote.

NBC (non-)projections:

GA-GOV: Too early to call
SC-GOV: Too early to call
VT-GOV: Too early to call

I literally was wondering about this while voting, but didn't notice straight away. Republicans are insidious.

Because allowing people to vote straight ticket by shading in a single box does wonders for reducing partisanship.

So, what Democrats on the ballot are most likely to benefit from this?

GA exit poll-
41% college
59% no college

2021 runoff was 38% college, 62% no college

Unfortunately in Georgia, a state where college educated whites vote 75-25 R and where the black vote is significantly represented in no college, this doesn't tell much.
Could this actually hurt Ds?

As of right now Dems seem to be doing 4% worse in the GA-Gov margin than GA-Sen. Not many votes in but again, you tend to not need a huge sample size to get a good sense of over/underperformances unless someone has a very regional appeal which i don't think is the case here.

How is forcing people to check 50 boxes for a bunch of judges doing anything to reduce partisanship ?

CNN Exit Poll Georgia
Walker 49.7%
Warnock 48.3

Talking about close and close to avoid a runoff.

Florida deserves to be the new Republicans headquarters.  Have you ever been there?  It's just so moist and everyone dislikes each other.  Unless they are drunk and then it's partytime : ) but that's just so perfect for the new GOP Big State.

Quote from: NY Times
A judge ruled that all polling places in Luzerne County, Pa., must stay open an additional two hours, until 10 p.m., after several locations reportedly ran out of paper for printing ballots.

The margins for Warnock in Richmond County GA (Augusta) and for Crist in Broward FL are not exactly reassuring for Democrats given that this is early vote only.

As if it isn't part of a bigger plan. The death of our elections by a thousand cuts, it gets tiring of explaining reality to GOPers who want to be intentionally ignorant and/or play dumb about the intentions of their party.

Georgia electing Herschel Walker would be as deplorable as rejecting Max Cleland 20 years ago.
