Why would sinking a warship during a war be considered unjustified by anyone? If Argentina didn't want the General Belgrano sunk they shouldn't have started an unjustified war of aggression.

The sinking of the Belgrano was not against the rules of war, and neither were Argentina's efforts at sinking British ships in the same conflict.
