Nixon in a landslide.  I don't think Johnson's appeal would spread much beyond the Southern and Border States.  As an aside, LBJ, with his less than Hollywood good looks and strong Southern accent would not agree to any TV debates!

Nixon would win landslide. Against Richard Nixon, he doesn't have a strong appeal in New England and in the Midwest
