Don't most countries have some sort of "systematic racism problem", if we are being totally honest?

It depend on what we mean with both “systematic” and “racism”. But yes, I would say so, but I’m also of the opinion that racism is simply part of the human condition. We establish models for how people behave based on a mix of factors like gender, race, religion, class, age, clothing, football club etc based on past experience. We then use it to warn of potential trouble or danger. Of course that also mean if you’re unlucky in falling into one of the bad categories, you will end up being systematic discriminated against.

I’m sure the Swiss cries themselves to sleep every night over this report.

Well, the left are going "we told you so, now we need to actually do something"

The right are very angry and completely deny everything.

And the SVP/UDC are too busy cheering on Putin to have noticed.

Is this why Parochial Boy doesn’t need to lock his doors?

As a great forumite might once have suggested, maybe the Swiss government should do something about 55% of systemic racism in the country and deny everything about the other 45%.

From what I've heard, Switzerland is kind of like the Texas of Europe (though not nearly as extreme.) It's a beautiful place, had a great time there a few years ago, but its politics aren't a utopia. I would still, however, prefer Swiss politics to American.
