No, no, Stewart was a progressive. The thing is, he was also a good nightly comedian. Noah just uses his soapbox to waste 15 extra minutes of Comedy Central's time each night to preach to the same choir about the same exact stuff.

I actually had to read a memoir by Noah for my Sociology class when I was in college. It was an interesting read. However, like you, I've never found Noah to be that funny and he certainly has been over-hyped.
