Basically, can atlas see?

I'm an option 5. Essentially I wear my glasses during the bulk of my day but take them off if I'm just relaxing or am focusing on things close up. My left can still see well enough for many tasks.

Glasses, pretty much all the time except when sleeping, showering, or just resting in bed.

I wear glasses at work, when I drive, and obviously when watching movies/TV. I don't wear them when I workout or when I'm just vegging.

No, but given how much I aspire to the "academic hipster" look, I kind of hope to someday.

option 2 right now, for reading or doing work on small things.  It kind of sucks, I've always had good eyes, but the mid 40s are rough on the eyes.  I went to the eye doc before Covid and they said I was close but I didn't need them yet and my eyes are noticeably worse now.  I have another eye doc appt next week, I expect to get glasses.  I will then schedule a meeting with some Lasik folks to see if that will fix me, I don't want to wear glasses.  Seems like a hassle.

Glasses.  A lot more lately as I keep having birthdays.  Mostly to read, use the computer and watch TV.

I wear contacts in the shower and even often when sleeping. My prescription is too strong for glasses; they look ridiculous.

Glasses since the age of 18. Practically all day except for sleeping and showering. I'm short-sighted.

I've worn glasses for distance since I was ten, but around age 16 I found my eyes getting worse and I've worn them almost all the time since.

The only times I don't wear them are for bathing and sleeping (obviously) but also for weird idosyncratic reasons of being in places where certain smells may cling to them. It drives me crazy when I go to a hibachi restaurant or something and my glasses smell like it for days afterwards. I've also experienced this from when I was around potato latkes being cooked and sitting in front of a bonfire.

Yeah...I have sensory issues when it comes to smells. I personally think my sense of smell borders on super-human. Probably because my eyes are so bad.

Also the very idea of contacts freak me out, I have never worn them and don't want to. Besides, when I wear my glasses I find that they distract from my enormous nose.

Contacts all day. I own a pair of glasses, but only very rarely use them.

I (am supposed to) wear one contact lens, because my left eye is somewhat fuzzy while my right eye works perfectly - though I rarely actually do since my binocular sight is just like my right eye sight. I find it hilarious that the poll has a whole 13 different options but lacks one for people with bad eyesight on one side only.

I occasionally think about it but never bother to even search for one (I suppose I would look ridiculous).

Between options 5 and 8, but much closer to 8. Voted option 8. I wear my  glasses most of the time when not sleeping or showering, except quite occasionally when I might just forget to wear them or something like that. But yes, most of the time I wear them, so option 8.

To be more specific about my eyesight - I'm nearsighted in both my eyes, but my right eye (from my perspective - if you're looking at me, it would be my left eye) is much worse.

Somewhere between Option 1 and 2 (have prescribed glasses but am very lazy about wearing them and can see most things clearly without them - it's more a "try to decrease tiredness/strain when working with computers" rather than "things look fuzzy").
