Kelly Ayotte easily won her senate election in NH in 2010.

And according to something, a female president was going to win the presidential election in 2012. (which didn't happen, obviously.)

But what if the Republican nominee was Kelly Ayotte? How would she have done against Obama in the Presidential election?

Obama would still win (easily) - 2012 map + North Carolina, perhaps.

The GOP's best chance at defeating Obama in 2012 was either Romney or Christie.
