No poll because a simple yes or no doesn't work for this question and I want people to explain their thoughts. It is seemingly not universally agreed upon that a military coup would be good for peace but a user predicted it about it, so.

Obviously, a military coup against Putin wouldn't bring liberal democracy to the country in a day. It's not something Russians are very familiar with as it has never been one. So the military would install a successor (I don't know enough about Russian politics to speculate on who).

Would this be good for Ukraine, Russia, both, or neither? And what would be the likelier outcome for Putin: death, imprisonment, or Hague war crimes tribunal?
