2025-29 -A Blank Canvas
2016:
Tuesday April 29 2025
On the Anniversary of PRESIDENT RON DESANTIS „First 100 Days“ Republican National Committee Chairman MATT RINALDI announces a „50-State-Strategy“ for the upcoming 2026 Midterm Elections.
„We will be going everywhere next year. President DeSantis Campaign Team proved in 2024 that we can win & compete even in Blue States like Illinois, Delaware, New Jersey, etc. and we will continue to do that. He has opened a lot of eyes with his win“
TWO MORE DEMOCRATIC SENATORS JOIN REPUBLICANS TO VOTE FOR THE BORDER SECURITY & PROTECTION ACT OF 2025
Two more Democrats have joined Republicans to support the RUBIO-SINEMA „Border Security & Protection Act of 2025“. Those are Senator Chris Coons (D-Delaware) and Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Connecticut). Both said that they had reached their conclusions after having talked with their Senate Colleagues Chris Murphy (D-Connecticut) and Ben DuPont (R-Delaware). That brings the Votes to vote for passage to at least 75. Republican Hold-Outs Kevin Cramer (R-North Dakota) and Mike Rounds (R-South Dakota) are to be believed leaning towards a YES Vote as well.
SENATE REPEALS PARTS OF THE 2022 INFLATION REDUCTION ACT THAT WAS PASSED BY THE DEMOCRATIC-LED CONGRESS IN 2022
The Senate today repealed Parts of the „Inflation Reduction Act of 2022“ that was passed under a Democratic Congress in August 2022 primarily the 87,000 IRS Agents. During a News Conference after passage Senate Majority Leader John Cornyn (R-Texas) called it a „Sham Act“ and total overreach by the 117th Congress & the previous Administration. Some of the funds for the IRS Agents will be redirected to fund the Southern Border. Majority Whip John Thune (R-South Dakota) & Senate Conference Chairwoman Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) said that this repeal will help Small Businesses get back onto their feet. The Bill is now headed for the House for Final Passage.
AHEAD OF THE VOTE OF THE BORDER SECURITY & PROTECTION ACT IN THE HOUSE DEMOCRATIC HOUSE MINORITY LEADER HAKEEM JEFFRIES ANNOUNCES SUPPORT OF THE LEGISLATION
The Democratic House Leadership under Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-New York) released a Joint Statement ahead of the scheduled Vote for the „Border Security & Protection Act of 2025“ annoucing their support for the Legislation citing National Security Concerns „We can no longer ignore of what happened on April 22nd in Houston, Texas. Securing our Southern Border is now vitally important given what we know. This is no longer just a Border Security Issue, it's a National Security Issue and the Democratic House Leadership will support whatever the DeSantis' Administration deem appropriate to secure our Homeland and we urge our colleagues to vote for this Legislation“. Having reached out to House Speaker Steve Scalise (R-Louisiana) Jeffries also teased a Major News Conference for tomorrow together with the Republican House Leadership to combat Border & National Security. One Rumor that made the Halls of the US Capitol is that a bipartisan BORDER & NATIONAL SECURITY COMMISSION would be established similarly to the 9/11 Commission. Jeffries also announced the Democratic House Leadership would attend the Rose Garden Ceremony after passage of the Legislation.

NBC NEWS SPECIAL REPORT
UNITED STATES SENATE PASSES LANDMARK „BORDER SECURITY & PROTECTION LEGISLATION“ BY A VOTE OF 77-23 WITH 13 DEMOCRATS VOTING FOR THE LEGISLATION CLEARING IT FOR PRESIDENT DESANTIS SIGNATURE TOMORROW
DURING THE 8PM HOUR ON NBC NEWS...
Lester Holt, Anchor NBC Nightly News: It's just after 8pm here on the East Coast. I'm Lester Holt, Anchor of NBC Nightly News and we come to you with this Special NBC NEWS Bulletin that the United States Senate after the House of Representatives this Afternoon has now also passed the most comprehensive Border Security & Protection Legislation in the History of this Country clearing it for Signature by President Ron DeSantis at a Rose Garden Ceremony tomorrow Afternoon. I have Savannah Guthrie, Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell with me here. Savannah, first to you. This is momentous!
Savannah Guthrie, Anchor NBC Today Show: I was just thinking about it Lester! Over the last two decades both Parties wrangled and tried Border Security and Immigration Reform but neither couldn't get it done. Tonight is a great first step with this Legislation now having passed to get illegal Immigration & Border Security under control especially after what happened a week ago in Houston, Texas. Still, it's a long way to go before we can actually enact meaningful Immigration Reform.
Chuck Todd, NBC NEWS Political Director & Anchor of Meet The Press: The April 22nd Houston Attack swayed a lot of Democrats Savannah. You don't get all of the sudden 80 House Democrats supporting this Legislation. Unfortunately something had to happen first before they came to their senses. One Democratic Senator, who retired a few years back, told me that he doesn't like this posturing by Senate Minority Leader Schumer (D-New York) at all.
Andrea Mitchell, NBC NEWS Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent: This Legislation also comes just three weeks ahead of President DeSantis' Visit to Mexico which I presume could make negotiations with the new Mexican President Christina Pardo much easier. It explains why the Administration was so eager to pass it before the Mexico Visit.
Lester Holt, Anchor NBC Nightly News: Let's go to our own Chief White House Correspondent Kristen Welker. Kristen, any reaction from the White House to this Development?
Kristen Welker, NBC News Chief White House Correspondent: Yes, there is Lester. It's just coming in and it's a Joint Statement coming from White House Communications Director CHRISTINA PUSHAW & Communications Director for Vice President Haley MERCEDES SCHLAPP and I'm going read it to you:
„We are incredibly humbled and grateful that tonight after months of hard work the United States Congress has passed the Border Security and Protection Act. It's this Administrations' desire and hope that with this piece of Legislation tragic incidents like on April 22nd in Houston can be prevented in the future and the strain on our border communities can be eased. The President will say more on this tomorrow. Thank You!“
PRESIDENT STANTON:
TUESDAY APRIL 29 2025
WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCES THAT PRESIDENT WILL BE ON HAND TO SIGN THE BORDER SECURITY AND PROTECTION ACT, ONCE BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS VOTED THE BILL INTO LAW : White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany in her daily press briefing, announced that the President will sign the landmark 2025 Border Security & Protection legislation into law, as soon as congress has voted. Both houses of congress will hold the scheduled vote this afternoon. The bill will be signed into law in a Rose Garden ceremony. House Majority Leader, Jim Banks (R-IND) announced that the Speaker Steve Scalise (R-LA) has scheduled the house vote, which will occur before the Senate vote. It should be noted that this legislation becomes law, as the DeSantis-Haley administration marks it's 100th day in office. The administration's original schedule has been upended by the Yokota and Seoul Missile attacks, and the emergence of North Korea Jihad, the North Korean Conflict and the Houston Terrorist attacks.
White House Chief of Staff, Byron Donalds remarked, "We have been thrown a number of curve balls, none of which could be ignored ...and to this end we had to address numerous crises, each which represented an existential threat"
Office of Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) , has announced that "Senator Schumer will be unable to attend the signing ceremony, due to fundamental differences with the DeSantis administration over the border".
Numerous print and online publications have reached out to Former Vice President, Kamala Harris for a comment on the impending enactment into law of the Border Act, but none were forthcoming.
TAKING STOCK, THE 100 DAYS OF THE DESANTIS ADMINISTRATION.
The president's hopes were ambitious at best, his first presidential message to congress, outlined an ambitious domestic agenda. His decision to make Vice President Nikki Haley, Border Czar has resulted in the passage of a comprehensive piece of legislation, which now allows the administration to secure, what was regarded a porous Southern border. The Vice President's Asian Tour, concluded in the midst of an international crisis, precipitated by a missile attack on Yokota in Japan. This in turn has led to the proposed establishment of a new Pacific Treaty Organization. Congress passed the Yokota Joint Congressional Resolution, which gives the President authorization to order military action in North Korea. So far, a joint U.S.-China operation is underway to neutralize and eliminate North Korea Jihad. With the implementation of the Border Security & Protection Act now underway, the expectation is that with a secure southern border, further terrorist attacks, similar to what occurred on 4/22 in Houston will be prevented. The president is expected to push for passage of a balanced budget administration, the implementation of a federal voter ID law, a federalization of voting laws in Presidential and Congressional elections, the enactment of a new Immigration Law, and the elimination of Woke Ideology in all school curriculums.
PRESIDENT STANTON:
WEDNESDAY APRIL 30 2025
WHITE HOUSE ANNOUNCES THE PRESIDENT'S UPCOMING TRAVEL ITINERARY
A day following the President DeSantis's signing into law of the landmark 2025 Border Security & Protection Act, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, in her daily briefing announced the president's travel itinerary for his upcoming trip to Mexico, Europe and Canada.

The President will also visit Poland and Italy, from May 21 to May 23.
PENTAGON ANNOUNCES PROGRESS IN NORTH KOREAN CONFLICT, with military combat operations still underway, Defense Secretary Kenneth Braithwaite announced in his daily briefing, that North Korean Jihad, "Is well on its way to being decimated, and our forces have secured and contained any and all WMD, plus all or most of North Korea's nuclear weapons arsenal is being and will be completely eliminated in the medium term..."
However, China's PLAA is encountering stiff resistance in the Western portion of North Korea.

House Speaker STEVE SCALISE (R-Louisiana) and Minority Leader HAKEEM JEFFRIES (D-New York) today announced that the House of Representatives would establish an Independent Bipartisan 4/22 Commission to probe possible Border Security Breaches that led to the horrific & deadly Houston Terrorist Attack. Jeffries zipped „The Point is these Individuals who carried out the Houston Attack should have never being led into the Country in the first place. Someone did not do its job properly and we need to find out why. Speaker Scalise and myself, we both agree on that“.
Jeffries also offered a sharp rebuke to Senate Minority Leader CHARLES SCHUMER (D-New York) saying „The Senate Minority Leader should stop playing Games with the National Security of this Country“.

DURING FOX NEWS AMERICAS NEWSROOM...
During FOX NEWS late Morning Show „AMERICA'S NEWSROOM“ with Bill Hemmer & Dana Perino KellyAnne Conway, Republican Strategist and now a Senior Political Analyst at the Network and Jessica Tarlov, Democratic Strategist sparred over the Border Security and Protection Act that was just passed by Congress. Responding to a Question by Host Bill Hemmer Tarlov had this to say...
Jessica Tarlov, Democatic Strategist „It's very disappointing Bill that only 13 Democratic Senators and 80 House Members supported the Border Security Act. This was certainly a moment where in particular the Democratic Senate Minority Leader could have put whatever concerns he had about the Legislation aside and support it but he choose not to. To be quite frank I can't find any rassistic language in this bill, I voiced that to KellyAnne. I think House Minority Leader Jeffries & the Democratic House Leadership did the right thing supporting the Legislation. Also the Establishment of the bipartisan Independent 4/22 Commission shows Leadeship both by Speaker Scalise and Minority Leader Jeffries. I think Senate Minority Leader Schumers Hot-Mic Moment will hurt Democrats going forward as National Security will become a huge issue during this years Elections in Virginia & New Jersey and going forward heading into the Midterms next year. If we don't perform well this year and next year maybe for the good of my Party Schumer should step aside.“
KellyAnne Conway, Republican Strategist „I agree, the Border Security Act should have passed with a similar Mandate like the Yokota Resolution. The wounds from the Houston Attack that happened 8 Days ago are still fresh so you would have assumed more support so I can understand Jessica's Disappointment. That being said Bill & Dana Minority Leader Schumer has not spoken once with Majority Leader Cornyn since the Passage of the Yokota Resolution. Frankly, I don't know what's between the White House, President DeSantis, VP Haley and Schumer but I am sure we will find out at some point in the future.
The Administrations' Messaging has been very effective and Vice President NIKKI HALEY is probably the most effective VP since George H. W. Bush, when he was VP under President Ronald Reagan. She gets straight back to work as alluded to by announcing these Town Halls next month. You got to sell what you just passed. I wish Mike Pence would have been this effective [ALL 4 BREAK OUT IN LAUGHTER]. DESANTIS-HALEY accomplished more in 100 Days when it comes to our Southern Border than BIDEN-HARRIS did in four years. Let that sink in!“
2016:
NON-TIMELINE UPDATE
Yesterday Night Rep. Donald McEachin (D-VA 4) devastatingly passed after losing his longtime battle with cancer. I had McEachin vying for the Democratic Gubernatorial Nomination against Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-VA 10) to take on Governor Winsome Sears (R-Virginia) in 2025. Since that will no longer be possible and the Filling Deadline for the Virginia Primaries has already passed Wexton will be running unopposed in the June Primary and I will schedule a Special Election for the now vacated House Seat presumably on the same Day the Virginia General Election is occuring. May Donald McEachin rest in peace and condolences to all who were close to him.
