Vice President Nikki Haley arrived in Seoul, South Korea at about 10am South Korean Standard Time this morning after a short 3-Hour Flight from Tokyo, Japan. US Vice President Haley arrived in Jakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday after a 4 Hour 30-Minute Night Flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She met Indonesian President Joko Widodo whom she discussed the recent attack by North Korea on Japan. Among possible solutions they discussed to prevent further aggression by North Korea or China was to start a so-called PACIFIC TREATY ORGANIZATION (PTO), similar to the NORTH ATLANTIC TREATY ORGANIZATION (NATO).

US Vice President NIKKI HALEY arrived in New Delhi, India this morning after an 8 Hour 30 Minute overnight Flight from Jakarta, Indonesia. This is her 1st Visit to the State as VP having been in India for the last time in 2017 when she was Ambassador to the United Nations under former President Trump.
Haley met with Indias Prime Minister Narenda Modi as well as Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Among the Topics being discussed was obviously North Korea's Ballistic Missile Strike on Japan. Haley reassured the two Indian Leaders that there would be a swift response to this attack. India has been on high alert since President Xi made rumblings about Taiwan because the Country shares a rather large border with China.
One Topic that Haley, her National Security Advisor Glaccum, India Prime Minister Modi and Foreign Minister Jaishankar discussed was a possibility implementing a "NO-FLY ZONE" over the Sea of Japan to prevent further attacks and missile launches by the North Korean Regime.

It should be noted that the Country holds a Special Place for the US Vice President having been born to an Indian Sikh Family in Bamberg, South Carolina. Haley is expected to stay for about two Days in India before departing for her last two stops of her Diplomatic Trip Singapore and Australia.

VP Haley arrived at the penultimate Stopover of her Diplomatic Tour, Singapore. Air Force Two touched down at Changi International Airport during the 8am Hour Singapore Time having arrived from New Delhi, India. During the 10 Hour Visit in the Country Haley met with Singaporian Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long and its Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan. Among the Topics between the three beyond the North Korean Missile strike into Japan was a potential Trade Deal between the two Countries which would allow the United States of America to buy some of Singapore's Chinook Helicopters to help the US during potential Hurricane Recovery Efforts.
Singapore is a crucial & critical US Ally as it connects the Straights of Malacca to the South China Sea and could be used to ship potential Aircraft Carrier Groups stationed in the Arabian Sea to the South China Sea.

By my calculations it's going to take some 2 1/2 to 3 Weeks before the Nimitz Carrier Group arrives in the Sea of Japan and we probably need some F117-A Nighthawks Stealth Jets.
Once everything is in place the simplest way to prevent any further missile launches or attacks is to disarm North Koreas Mobile Launch Platforms.

President DeSantis ain't going to drop a Nuke on North Korea. What needs to be done is disarm NK Mobile Launchers and its long-range ballistic missile program. May I remind you that some of these missiles NK posseses can reach GUAM, which is US Territory.
And this attack on Japan was very different compared to previous launches when the missliles would just splash into the sea given it missed the Yakota Air Base by just a hair. This was done on purpose.

@2016, I think DeSantis needs to allow those players in Washington, know that something is in the works and by the time the Nimitz group is in place,  what ever he has planned, then it's a go. In the meantime, once the Reagan group is where he needs it to be, I'd order a few hits, mayhe a bunker buster and get some U-2s in to do some some reconnaissance and get some data to find what Kim is really up to.
He has two options, first one is to take out North Korea's mobile launch platforms, permanently or option two, regime change! I'd go for option one, as it's more practical and doable. The second option in a normative and ideal situation and preferable. Once North Korea is done with, then I'd rotate the carrier groups near Taiwan on a permanent basis, just to keep Xi honest.

DeSantis needs to wait until Congress passes a Resolution authorizing him to use Millitary Force against NK. That Resolution is probably in the works already given the unity Cornyn and Schumer showed and it will probably likely pass with overwheming Majorities in Congress.

On FOX NEWS Ret. Colonel Keane suggested that these two Aircrafts are likely to be stationed at Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Missions have been flown from Diego Garcia during the War on Terror „OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM“ and the War in Iraq „OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM“.

Ret. Colonel Keane: „We don't have many facilities outside of the US Mainland to maintain this type of aircraft so my sense is that they will likely be stationed at DIEGO GARCIA in the Indian Ocean.“

• The United States of America currently has 20 of those aircrafts and will maintain them until 2032
• The B2 can reach an altitude of 50,000 Feet
• The range of the B2 is 6,000 Nautical Miles but can be extended to 10,000 Nautical Miles by Mid-Air Refuelling
• DIEGO GARCIA is within range of Beijing & Pyongyang
• The US has never lost a B2 in combat mode

With the F117A-Nighhawk being retired the B2 could fly the bulk of Missions into North Korea Keane suggested.

@2016, I agree, the original idea was for DeSantis to address the nation, on April 14, now I'm thinking that the date for such an address for at least 5 days to a week. North Korea because its a closed society, you don't know what's what! If you or SaintStan86 have any scenario's that could be used, feel free to jump in, as I said besides this TL is a collaborative process. I would be shocked if KIM authorized this attack on his own knowing the consequences he would face. Who is influencing him? Nobody knows? Could it be ISIS/Abu Sayaf? What Organization has this kind of Infrastructure within in a Country to launch such an attack?
