The President's amendment is adopted.

I will try to figure out the missing expenditures tomorrow. Then if all the minor amendments pass it should be easy to finish the budget.

Nobody seems interested in starting to do math (gee, I wonder why) so I'm going to try and clean up the sums tonight and bring the final version to the floor.

Nobody seems interested in starting to do math (gee, I wonder why) so I'm going to try and clean up the sums tonight and bring the final version to the floor.

Sorry. In court recess right now. The numbers I have on notepad are:

2,134.41 Billion - income
440.48 Billion - Corporate
34.69 Billion - Global
1,325.58 Billion - Payroll
50.5 Billion - Estate
1,578.898 Billion - Wealth
27.5 Billion - Investment
81.75 Billion - Carbon
50 Billion - Gas
24.2 Billion - Cigs and Booze
9.9 Billion - Med Device
63.19 Billion - Rev Enhance
13 Billion - LIFO
46.7 Billion - Buffett
11.025 Billion - tariffs
30.21 Billion - Other
233.61 Billion - Pandemic
(6,155.643) + financial transaction
Huh Billion - Financial transaction

-56.3 Credits
($6099.343)

Will help explain later. On expenditures only pensions should have decimals to make adding easy.

Update: $6,099,343,000,000.00 is my final number for expenses for the year as of now and that does include the Computer chip bill and assumes the food inflation bill passes. As of now, outstanding legislation that could affect this final number include the Affordable Energy Act (on floor) which costs $45 Million, the Childcare Opportunity Act which costs $20 Billion this year but doubles next year in its current form, and the soon to be introduced rare earths bill which costs $22.5 Billion in the form I transmitted to the President.

In the queue there are also the Commonsense Program Reform Act, Obsolete Programs Sunset Act, and G.I. Joe Act, each of which if passed would save us money rather than costing it, so we can pretty much look at that $6.122 Trillion number as our maximum potential expenditures at this point. If any of these 3 bills passes expenses decrease.

There are a few pending bills that could affect our revenue side, both positively and negatively.

On the floor we have the Tax the Woke Act which will increase revenue an amount being calculated by the GM Office.

In the queue we have the Competing Currencies Act which would decrease revenues by an as of yet undetermined amount and the Surplus Land Sales Act which would increase revenues by an as of yet undetermined amount.

Also of note, while not available until next budget, several revenue increases will kick in for the next budget: revenue from the sale of the TVA and internet spectrum, and increased royalties from gas and mineral leases on federal lands.

Based on the above numbers for revenue:

$6,155,643,000,000.00 in revenue not including

+ whatever the referenced financial transaction tax is
+ Tax the Woke revenues (assuming it passes)
- Competing Currencies exemptions (assuming it passes)
+ Surplus Land Sales revenues (assuming it passes)

= total revenues.

Worst case, if the financial transaction revenue was $0 and none of the pending bills pass either on revenue or expense decreases, we already have a $33 Billion surplus so we should be balanced for the year. With the financial transaction tax and tax the woke and surplus land sales the surplus is $33 Billion + $Z billion. So if competing currencies is less than Z (which it will be) we can sagely assume a sound budget, especially given the upcoming cost savings bills.
