I think Derek Green is an early favorite and I endorse him.

I really like Cherelle Parker. Interested to see how this plays out.

Green may be the favorite though since he is probably the most well known and senior of city council.

My guess is probably not, though I would love it if he did. I think he probably has his eye on Dwight Evans' seat when he retires.

Kenyatta would be such a goated Mayor it's insane. He has a very bright future in PA Democratic politics, and is future President material.

I endorse whomever possesses the foresight to follow through on SEPTA’s Project Metro, or at least prioritizes the Trolley/Regional Rail modernization legs before the Sixers’ Center City move BSoD’s the El/PATCO every home game. The sports complex handles event traffic rather well due to the Broad Street Line’s express headways as well as (for better or worse) the ample parking; Center City simply doesn’t have the real estate for that and we’re not building anymore high-speed lines so they need to get moving on trolleys/maximizing gameday headways ASAP.

His bio has a lot of similarities to Obama's down to the Kenyan ancestry.

He's very charismatic, has a compelling life story, is gay, and is progressive, but not in a toxic way. He's so young too, only 32. I think there's no way he won't be somewhere on a Democratic ticket sometime in the next 30 years.

Becoming Mayor would probably be a net detrimental move for Kenyatta’s long-term career.

I don't get why people like Kenyatta so much. All he has done is get 3rd in a Senate primary.

I don't align with him policy-wise, but Kenyatta's definitely at the top of my PA "would love to hang out with" list.
